Always address it to your Line Manager and copy in the appropriate HR/People team member representative.
If you’re not sending it via email but as a letter, remember to date it!
Keep your resignation letter to the point and short and remember, always leave gracefully. It really isn’t worth burning bridges even though it might feel real good at the time!

Leaving for a new opportunity – choose one:
I have been offered another role that will halve my commute and allow me to spend more time with my family.

Leaving as role isn’t a good fit:
During my time here, I’ve come to realise the role is unfortunately not what I had anticipated and that’s why I will be exploring other opportunities.
